Yesterday went something like this:
Read an entry from the 2,996 project.
Feel sad.
Eat pie.
Read another entry, because I learn nothing.
Sad. Sad!
Okay, maybe just one more.
Oh God.
Hug baby, get rejected by baby, who's all, "whatevah, no time for your hugs, I gots places to BE."
More pie.
Realize baby will hug me if I share the pie.
Sigh. All better now.

Yeah for Maya and Pie!

Coincindence? I too had pie, I also read about MP AND I wrote about a friend who was lost on 9/11. We have quite a bit in common these days.

Sharing pie will always get you a hug, or at least more attention for more pie. Kids are like that.
Thank you for posting a link to my 9-11 tribute. It appears to have upset you, I am sorry. Actually, I think it upset a lot of people, just because of the age of the little girl.

Amy, even though it made you sad, thanks for stopping by my blog and reading my tribute to firefighter William R. Johnston. He was a true hero and a great guy. It was a sad day, but the way the Blogosphere pulled together to write these tributes was just plain inspiring. It felt good to actually DO something with my blog, you know?
