Man, why didn't anyone tell me how totally overwhelming this BlogHer thing was? I've been in a constant state of OH MY GOD IT'S YOU I LOVE YOUR BLOG OH MY GOD OH MY GOD HI HI HI for going on 36 hours now.
I've met some of the coolest people in the world and I can't stop hugging every last one of them.
Here are the blogcards I collected from day one, which probably represent about one-twentieth of the bloggers I've met:
Some are old favorites of mine, like Mom-101, IzzyMom, Drowning In Kids and Mom, Ma'am, Me. There's Supafine, Mom Writes, Table for Five and Karianna.
Some are people I felt like I knew already, like Grace, Dawn, Mir, Tracey and all three Mommybloggers.
And then I have a whole bunch of new sites to read, like Parentopia.net, Sarah and the GoonSquad, Crib Ceiling, Mom to the Screaming Masses, A Mommy Story, Lisa's Room and Mocha Momma (who pretty much saved BlogHer by lending me her camera battery charger, oh my GOD THANK YOU).
And this is where I apologize for the lack of a witty closing, because it is time to go find some coffee. Right now. Stat. Or maybe to just go back to bed for many more hours.
Note to self: must TRAIN for BlogHer next year. This thing ain't for amateurs.

That looks like so much fun. I just this week gave up a 60 hour tv gig to be home with the babes and focus on Ebay. Perhaps my blog? Perhaps crossing fruit with meat and selling them on a street corner? I don't know. My point... just at utter frustration as to what to do I ran across all these mom blogs who talked about Blogher. When ya get time, I'd love to hear some posts about if the nuts and bolts of this conference covering how to get more blog traffic, etc. Or maybe I'm just a narcissistic person interested in this? Anyway, have fun. Cute site you have. Mama P.

And sorry about that last sentence. Obviously I can't write coherent sentences - perhaps a good reason to not have taken that tv gig. That, and I'd lose my mind with stress. Whatevah.

You're nice and pretty and I want those gold shoes you have when you're done with them, please.
Also, your man falls under the "dream boat" category.

Blogcards? Who knew you needed blogcards? I'm totally printing this out so I'm prepared for next year...battery charger, blogcards, portable coffe-maker...got it.

Yeah, I stupidly ran out of cards in about ten minutes. It was nice meeeting you, though!

Amy, you're everything I knew you'd be but far better. Friggin' adorable, funny, smart...well, the queen of everything I'd say. Cheers darlin', you rock. Hard.

Anyone who says "popular bloggers" aren't interested in meeting everyone else obviously has never met you. I love that you were just as excited to meet all of us as we were to meet you.
Ha, my card looks so cheap compared to everyone else's, and I'm next to Mir, which doesn't help. Oh, and the training? Yes, for a few days before Blogher '07, wake up early after drinking all night and then stand on your feet in a sauna all day. That should do it.

Blogcards??? Who would've known...I feel so unbloggerish for not even knowing that they exist... Do I need them?

Hopefully Aviva and I will do a ton more speaking engagements this year and then our company will be able to give out Parentopia schwag in addition to the cards we already print up.
Loved meeting everyone! And see you in ChiTown, if not sooner!
