Today's assignments, for which I will give you smiley-face stickers upon completion:

1) Convince Nancy over at Mom/Ma'am/Me to NOT STOP BLOGGING. Because no. She is not allowed to stop blogging, because...I said so. And because I just started reading her a few weeks ago and that is NOT FAIR, THIS IS ALL ABOUT ME.

And because she's a terrific writer, and while we've all hit that wall of blogging fatigue (my own finger actually hovered over the "DELETE WEBLOG" link back in January for entire minutes at a time), I think the blogging community is much better off having Nancy as a member. Go check her out and see if you agree.

2) Welcome mom on a wire BACK to the blogging community after a month-long hiatus. Awesome.

(I may even have some glittery smiley-face stickers if you are extra nice.)

blah, blah, blog. Where's the advice smackdown?! ;-)

Heh. I actually compiled a "best-of" Smackdown for this week (translation: reruns!) but it's not published yet. I will investigate.

Holy COW, these are people I read all the time... and they both so TOTALLY ROCK! Ha... see if Nancy can quit now that she's had an Amalah write-up! Thank you for that.

Thank you, Amalah, for your kind words and support. (Bon just told me about your post and I almost fell down when I saw it!) I do know we all have those moments when we think about getting rid of the blog. I'm hoping I'm just in a rough patch!

Hi Amalah, I am new here. Just got sent this link and decided to check it out. I agree totally, I love Nancy's blog.

I have not been to mom on a wire yet so I will go there next.

Hi Everyone..I am new here to ClubMom..just wanted to say hello, I have LOTS to learn around here it looks like...well, hope to get to know all of you sooner than later!

Wow...how timely..."blogging fatigue." I think I have that. I've got all the symptoms--at least this evening. I'm officially diagnosed, then....

Nancy definitely needs to keep blogging. I just found her myself, and don't want to loose having her blog to read.

It's also great to have Mom On A Wire back. She has an awesome blog.

I think sometimes, we all go through Blogging fatigue as you mentioned. I find that when it happens to me, that if I step away from my blog for a day or two I come back with a fresh perspective.

The blogosphere is definitely better off because of these two women - and because of you...

Everyone should keep blogging! There must be MORE BLOGGING! BLOG! BLOG!

*Ahem* Yes, Nancy is a great writer and a terrific person as well. If she needs a break she should take one, but not for too long!

Aw, thanks Amy. The break was much-needed, but I missed blogland. Good to be back.

i experience blogging fatigue at least every other month. laying low and easing off for a week or so seems to bring me back around, but oh do i understand the finger-poised-over-the-delete-key feeling.

Do we get stickers for encouraging Amalah to write about the reunion already? It's been almost a week.

All I'm saying is it's a damn good thing my LIFE, my MARRIAGE, my role as MOTHER, my JOB doesn't have a delete button because on any given day, I'd be hovering over it going "I just can't do this marriage thing anymore... I'm really going to click it this time."

In some ways, the blog saves me from checking out of all those other bits of my life. Right now, major family drama is unfolding and leaves me to sad to express it anywhere but on my blog.

Too, leaves me TOO sad. Not TO sad. I know the difference. Where is the DELETE COMMENT button when I make such an embarrassing mistake, huh???

YAY! An Amalah shout-out for my fabulous friend Nancy!

Nancy is a wonderful writer and an incredibly supportive part of the blogging community. I love her to pieces, and I know I'm not the only one.

I've been reading Nancy for several months and I heart her. I hope her frustration is short lived. Blog On Nancy!

OK gals. A hiatus is jes FIIINE when y'all are burned out on the blawging thing. (AMY, YOU REALLY HOVERED OVER THE "DELETE WEBLOG" BUTTON? IN JANUARY? SO glad you stuck with it. It was the hormones talking.)

Take a month, take 6 months - heck, Pamie took a year back in the day when blogging was called, "I keep an online journal. No really. I have a journal, and it's online, on the internet. And people read it." Do what you have to, but don't delete until you're awfully darn sure.

Yes.

And the same goes for Izzy, and Scarbie, and anyone else who's been experiencing blog fatigue.

Next time you feel blog-fatigued, come visit Auntie HBM. I'll give you a cookie. Or liquor.

Yeah for Nancy! I've been reading her for a while now and I don't want her to go either.
