I think this post from mothergoosemouse dovetails yesterday's Chicken Spaghetti link quite nicely, don't you?
The New & Improved Adventures of Strawberry Poopface!
And if adding potty humor to perfectly innocent, yet SCREAMINGLY ANNOYING children's books is something you dig, take a moment to revisit Dooce's take on several book covers. (The sheer number of commenters who genuinely thought I Lost My Dad To Syphilis was a real title and were about five minutes from composing a sternly-worded letter to the publisher must either be a testament to Dooce's tremendous Photoshop skills, or an indication that some people maybe need to get out more.)
Oh, and we can't forget the Baby Book Cage Match, courtesy of Julie of A Little Pregnant? Heh. Heh!

I think the Alexander book would do very well - especially with the children of Mommy Bloggers, who could identify with poor alexanders connundrum of having his every mis-step documented by his own mother.

alexander needs to suck it up, or he is totally going to get a time out.

Oh my. If I'd known I would be linked - by AMALAH! - I would have spent a little more time with Photoshop (and drunk a little less beer in the process).
Thanks for the love!

i just remembered Mega Mom's post on "No, David" which includes her 2 1/2 year old's literary interpretation of poor David's angst. It made me laugh my ass off:
